To the entire H&H Team,
I don’t know where to begin to thank you all for giving me the opportunity to rebuild my life because of the efforts put forth by all of you, after the fire in December. There are not enough words of gratitude to express how I felt watching the tremendous energy produced in the reconstruction of my condo and the seven other condo’s that were brought back to life again. Every single person who worked on the project was pleasant, helpful, respectful and in good humor through every challenge or glitch that came along. They are hard workers and know their profession. It was a long project for them, as well as all of us, but it had its rewards along the way, friendships were formed that eased the difficulties of being misplaced. I am starting to settle in and calm down after so much shuffling back and forth. It’s a process that takes time, I appreciate waking up to new appliances, red walls, beautiful granite, and everything that is clean, bright, and super wonderful. I will always hold a special place of gratitude in my memory and heart for the journey we traveled together this past year.

I would like to express our gratitude to you and your company for the excellent job you did on the reconstruction of the ceiling of our sanctuary. None of us had any experience dealing with a project of this size. The Sanctuary was a mess, not just the ceiling; dust was everywhere; pews were damaged, the area was unsafe. We had to hold our services in another building. Several construction companies were recommended to us but they were not forth coming with their estimates of cost and time for completion, nor were they available in a timely manner to answer our questions. We kept praying and then H&H Builders and Restoration was recommended to us. When you evaluated the situation and outlined your plans, We felt that God had answered our prayers for the right people to do the work, and that’s how it turned out. Everything you told us was right on the mark, from your first evaluation, to the cost, to the timing, to the last finishing touches. Please extend our gratitude to all the crews who worked so hard to repair our Sanctuary. We felt that you and your crew cared as much about Christ Church as we do. Without hesitation, we would be happy to recommend your company to anyone interested in your work.

Your company did a wonderful job. The fire left us in a complete state of shock. What do we do, who do we call, what steps need to be taken to get back to work as soon as possible. Thankfully the public adjuster we hired brough H&H Builders to a meeting with the owners. You had already had a plan and had an architect who could figure out what needed to be shored up in the short term. We could tell right away you were organized and experienced. Little did we know that this was just the beginning.
In less than a week we were back in operation on an emergency basis. During the interim period between the fire and the beginning of rebuilding you worked as an interface between the architect, building owner and insurance adjusters. I imagine this to be a difficult balancing act. Once the rebuilding plans were finalized and permits pulled, your crew was onsite every day. They were constantly on their phones arranging for supplies, subcontractors and inspections so progress could proceed in a timely manner. The timeline that was initially given to us I thought would be very optimistic. You beat almost every deadline. Even more reassuring than their daily performance was when it looked like it might rain, the building was wrapped in very thick, substantial tarps. I arrive early one Saturday morning to see if we had any
water problems. Guess what you already had someone on the roof checking for problems. There were none. I have never had a contractor care more for my business than your staff has.

Dental Office (Woodland Hills)

This letter is being sent in appreciation and thanks for the awesome rebuilding and restoration of our home. In January a fire consumed the majority of our home. Smoke and water damage ruined the rest of it. Among several companies vying for the job was H&H. Barry and Brandon Haber of H&H were low key, direct and concise, and impressed me with their expertise and knowledge. I should also mention their compassion. After some more conversation, the contract was given to H&H. The reconstruction and rebuilding process went extremely smooth. I was kept abreast of all details, and asked to make decorating choices well in advance, allowing myself and the family ample time to make these selections. We must make mention that Brandon Haber was able to find some irreplaceable family photos among the debris. We will always be thankful to Brandon! H&H was very professional and respectful, as were their sub-contractors and crews. All construction materials were of the highest quality, as witnessed by my daily visits to the building site. The completion date was actually ahead of schedule.

On October 3rd , my rental house burned and was declared an almost total loss by the insurance company. I engaged H&H Builders and Restoration to rebuild the house. The Company was attentive to my concerns, they responded quickly. It is rare that one can say that you are on better terms with your contractor at the end of the job than at the beginning. I can say that about working with H&H Builders. Because of this relationship, and the high quality of their work, I actually engaged H&H to do construction repair work on another job which I had personally started. I ran into trouble at one point and called H&H Builders to inquire as to their interest in working on the other site. We came to an agreement, and I’m pleased to say that my good feelings about H&H extended from one job site to the second. Both jobs were done in a timely manner, on budget and with high quality workmanship.

I would like to take a moment to recognize the exceptional experience we had with H&H Builders and Restoration. Anytime the team was scheduled to work they were punctual and prepared. Even when one of the crew members had to leave unexpectedly, another arrived to finish the shift. The crew was very considerate of our work space and was willing to move their tools or equipment at a moments notice to clear the area for our clientele. They even replaced the smallest items in their correct place, leaving no item unnoticed. They did an amazing job designing and building our cabinet. Especially considering we did not give any pictures as a design point of reference. Even the cabinet hardware was matched exactly to the hardware throughout our salon. That kind of attention to detail is greatly appreciated. We are so thrilled with the end result, it looks even more beautiful than it did before. I am more than happy to recommend H&H Builders and Restoration to anyone looking.

When an automobile literally flew through the wall of our sanctuary in August, it was a very traumatizing experience for us. The care, concern, competence and professionalism that you and your entire crew displayed throughout the rebuilding process helped all of us to feel confident that, in fact, our sanctuary would be better than ever upon completion of the work.
